General Questions

What are your business hours?

We're open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed Sunday.

Where are you located?

42396 Rio Nedo Rd, Temecula, CA 92590. We have easy access from I-15 and ample space for vehicles, trucks, and small trailers. We serve Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Winchester, Canyon Lake, Wildomar, and surrounding communities.

Do you offer pickup?

No. Recycle Strong is a drop-off recycle center. You must bring your recyclables to our Temecula location during business hours.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are welcome during all business hours. For very large loads, it's helpful to call ahead so we can be ready for you.

Do you have commercial recycling services?

Recycle Strong's public drop-off center is set up to serve households and small-volume recyclers. For ongoing commercial accounts, our affiliated company Jolly's Recycling serves business clients across Southern California.

Businesses generating recyclables on a regular basis have different needs than households dropping off a weekend's worth of cans. Our parent company, Jolly's Recycling, provides commercial recycling services for wineries, restaurants, manufacturers, and other operations, with pickup and bin delivery available across Riverside County, San Diego County.

Materials & Acceptance Questions

Do you take plastic water bottles, aluminum cans, soda cans, glass bottles?

Yes! We accept aluminum cans, plastic bottles (CRV), glass bottles, and a wide range of other materials — all metals including brass, copper, aluminum, steel, stainless, and more.

Do you recycle cardboard?

Yes, we recycle cardboard at no charge. You're welcome to drop off any quantity — from one box to hundreds. If you have a large amount, please call ahead.

Do you accept fabric?

No — we do not accept fabric, clothing, linens, upholstery, or textile scraps. Consider donating usable clothing to local thrift stores like Goodwill.

Do you take old motors with fan blades?

Yes, but there cannot be any fluids in the motor. Drain all oil, fuel, refrigerant, or other liquids before drop-off.

Do you take motorcycle parts?

Yes — frames, exhaust systems, wheels, and engines (drained of all fluids). Motorcycle aluminum is a popular drop-off item.

Do you take TVs, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and refrigerators?

Yes, we accept all of these. However, we do not pay for them — we accept them as a service to keep them out of landfills.

Do you take batteries?

It depends on the type. Lithium-ion and rechargeable batteries — call us before bringing them in. Standard alkaline batteries should go to a household hazardous waste facility.

Pricing Questions

What is the rate for aluminum cans and plastic bottles?

Prices reflect current market rates and are subject to change. Call (951) 406-4978 for today's exact rates.

Do I need to remove bottle caps before bringing in plastic bottles?

No — caps can stay on. You don't need to remove bottle caps.

Do you pay for steel wire coils?

Yes, but we need to see them in person to give you an accurate price. Bring them by during business hours.

Do you pay for refrigerators, washers, dryers, or dishwashers?

No. We accept these appliances at no charge, but we don't pay for them.

Why does pricing change so often?

Scrap material prices are tied to global commodities markets. Copper, aluminum, and steel are traded on exchanges, and their prices move daily. For the most current rates, give us a call.

Process Questions

Do I need to sort my materials before bringing them in?

Sorting is helpful but not required. If you can separate aluminum, plastic, glass, and metals before you arrive, it speeds up the weigh-in.

What type of metals do you accept?

From copper pipe and brass fittings to steel, iron, and aluminum, the metals you'd otherwise toss are worth real money at a buyback yard. Our scrap metal recycling covers both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, with pricing tied to current commodities markets and everything weighed in on certified scales.

What ID do I need to bring?

California state law may require ID for certain transactions, particularly for non-ferrous metals. Bring a government-issued photo ID to be safe.

How are materials weighed?

Materials we pay for are weighed on certified scales calibrated to California state standards. You'll see the weight reading at the time of weigh-in.

How am I paid?

Smaller transactions may be paid in cash. Larger transactions may be paid by check. California state law may require electronic or check payment for certain non-ferrous metal transactions.
